Grandma and Grandpa Smith visited this weekend so that was fun.  They were talking about how mature Maclin is now.  I know it was all an act... he is totally not like that all the time... jerk.  He even chewed off his collar TWICE before they got there!  I on the other hand was an angel as usual.  I cuddled and batted my eyelashes. 

Yesterday was CRAZY!  A bird flew into our screened in deck and Mac and I were going nuts trying to get it.  We scared it so much it flew around.  Daddy made us come inside while he tried to free it.  I guess it worked because he was gone when we got back out.  We know its because we were so scary!

Hi!! We are 2 BIG lab shepherd mixes and our mommy and daddy rescued both of us from kill shelters down south. Maclin was even saved 10 minutes before the gas chamber and he was only 4 months old! How could anyone want to get rid of us?? We are sooo handsome and soo smart and soo loving and soo great... basically we are the bomb diggidy of dogs. Well the squirrels don't think so, but they need to know their place! This blog will update you on all of our fun times!!

Loving this weather

It is sooo nice out.  We have been spending the day laying in the sun on our nice big deck.  We love it because we can relax and oversee our territory and easily get up and chase any squirrels that get cheeky and try to invade.  We also chase all the golf balls that the golfers hit into our yard.  Take some lessons!!  Pretty soon we will have a new deck, but mommy said it will be made out of fake wood.  I hope it's nice and warm like this stuff.  She said we have to because Maclin has destroyed the current deck... he is a brat.  One of these days I might let him write on here...
